This policy explains what happens to the details you give us, mainly through the quote form on this site. Mass Vehicle Security is the data controller for that information.

What we collect
When you complete the quote form we ask for:
- Your name and phone number, plus your email address if you choose to give it
- The vehicle make and model
- The postcode where the installation would take place
- Which system you are interested in
That is the whole list. We do not ask for payment details through this form, and we never ask for card numbers, bank details or passwords by email.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to prepare your quote and arrange the installation you asked about. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically responding to an enquiry you chose to send us, and where you go ahead with a booking, performance of a contract.
We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a quote request. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask you first and you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. We share it only where it is necessary to do the job:
- An installer from our network, if the work is outside the area we cover directly, and only the detail they need to attend
- The system manufacturer or monitoring provider, where registering the device or the warranty in your name requires it
- Our email and IT suppliers, who process data on our instructions
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Where we carry out an installation, we keep the records for as long as needed to support the warranty and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, normally six years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where we have no ongoing reason to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Transfer it to another provider

Cookies
This page does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no third-party analytics running on it. If that changes we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and enquiries go to a mailbox that only our team can access. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so please do not send us card details, bank details or documents you would not want read by anyone else.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
